Andy Tookey has been a long time campaigner for organ donation
reform due to NZ having the lowest donor rates in the Western World.
"Political procrastination and bureaucratic inertia will
ensure that many more New Zealanders will die from a lack of a transplant before
anything useful is done by those in power. Lifesharers NZ will give
the power back to the people and will provide a fair and ethical solution to the
organ shortage."
